THE REPUBLICAN LIBERTY CAUCUS ENDORSES CHUCK MEYER FOR CONGRESS (CD 36) FORT WORTH, TX – In the spirit of the legacy of liberty, left by departing Rep. Steve Stockman (R), whom is contesting John Cornyn's seat in the U.S. Senate race, the Republican Liberty Caucus proudly announces its endorsement of Chuck Meyer to replace him in the Congress. After careful study of all twelve GOP candidates in the primary race, the board felt confident that Meyer was the best choice to continue the fight for the Constitutional rights of Texans within the U.S. House of Representatives. He will no doubt be an outstanding representative for the constituents of Congressional District 36. Meyer has long been an outspoken proponent of the message of liberty, and is eager to continue the fight to restore the Constitution at the congressional level. He has been particularly active in the Houston-area Republican Liberty Caucus, by working to bring conservatives and constitutionalists together to work for the common goal of the preservation and restoration of liberty. We strongly urge conservative Republican voters to support Meyer on his quest to win the party nomination.
This caucus first reviewed options on the 12 candidates running and completely agree with the final outcome. Chuck has personally worked with this caucus since its founding. The special skill Chuck brings is his ability to bring together all conservatives in the party for the common good, a feat not easily claimed in the uneasy waters of the modern day Republican Party. This is clearly demonstrated by not only our endorsement but that of United Republicans as well.
